Applications
The ULPA range of filters are usually used within Cleanrooms for high end microelectronic applications
Usually associated with ISO Class 3 of ISO 14644
The filter will usually be combined with a liquid seal chanel sealing system rather than the conventional closed cell gaskets.
Description
The filtration medium is provided by microfine glass fibres formed into paper-like surface supplied in various grades depending upon the filtration efficiency required
The filter paper is formed into a close pleated package to provide a large surface area. Corrugated spacers of either kraft paper or aluminium are inserted between each pleat to provide support for the pleat and also ensure the entire surface of the filtering medium is used.
The completed pack is sealed into the casing using a polyurethane sealant. After which every filter is individually tested to ensure conformity.
