SWA cable
S.W.A. or steel wire armoured cable for use in mains distribution underground, in ducts or for surface installation.
The cable is specified for use where there is a danger of it becoming mechanicaly damaged. It is widely used in industry. And is also used safely under water.

Bedding: Extruded PVC
Armour: Galvanised Steel Wire Armour, Sheath: PVC Black.
Conductor: Stranded or Solid Plain Annealed Copper.
Application: Designed for use in mains supply electricity. These cables are provided with mechanical protection are therefore suitable for external use and direct burial.
